“Left” Ride was Frozen

Sometimes, plans don't quite work out as expected. That's okay, we improvise!! Everyone arrived @ Bairs Saturday morning, and the temperature was way, way low. But everyone was ready to ride, so we proceeded as usual. When the cold morning wind hits you in the face @ 45 mph, it is a wake-up call. We got to our first break stop, and everyone was miserable. Some, more than others, so we decided to cancel the ride and head home. Some went to The Nest in Magnolia for lunch and coffee, and they didn't disappoint. The cloud cover didn't make it any better; we were hoping some sunshine would come through, not til later, and it wasn't enough either. Some of us went to Hartville Kitchen for some pie and coffee. It was busy, but it was enjoyable not having to ride in the cold. Many people in line were asking questions and just having a good time.

It was a hard decision to cancel, but I did it. Thanks, okay, on to the next ride!!!!!!
